American Honey – 2016

Star (Sasha Lane), a teenager with very little to lose, is charmed into joining a group of traveling misfits on their quest to sell magazines across America. While riding turbulent waves of partying, law bending and young love, Star and the rest of her group do their best to survive, while also doing their best to have fun and experience life to its fullest. An underrated and underappreciated movie with a lengthy, but worthwhile, runtime.

Man Up (2015) – Review

When Nancy (Lake Bell) – a thirty-something year old woman exhausted by the endless amount of unsuccessful dates that have been thrown her way – decides to finally take things into her own hands, she ends up taking the place of a stranger’s scheduled blind date and ultimately meets a man that ends up changing her outlook on the dating world. A British-based, feel good flick, that isn’t the worst option if you’re hoping to kill some time on a lazy afternoon.

Love. Wedding. Repeat (2020) – Review

When a group of friends find themselves at a beautiful, picturesque wedding in Rome, the bride’s brother, Jack (Sam Claflin), must ensure his sister’s big day goes as smoothly as planned after an angry and seemingly destructive ex-boyfriend arrives to cause chaos. He must do this while trying to juggle other troubling events that pop up too, while also attempting to find his happy ever after. A half decent production with a fairly unique premise, but probably not a movie that many will remember months from now.

Destination Wedding (2018) – Review

The is a typical romantic story of Frank (Keanu Reeves) and Lindsay (Winona Ryder), a miserable, middle aged pair that are coupled together for a wedding they were both initially reluctant to attend, but after bonding over their mutual hatred of pretty much everything, they develop an affection towards each other. An okay movie, especially if you’re hoping to kill some time – Destination Wedding is currently streaming on Netflix.
